How it’s made

A book made to be handled.

What your client holds is an object: wood, fabric or a textured cover, a heavy uncoated sheet and spreads that open flat.

The cover

Explore wood, Fineart fabric, velour and eco-leather finishes in our material library. Final material and colour availability are confirmed before production.

Personalise the album with names, a date or a short line of text. The original wood and ivory examples feature a rectangular nameplate.

The sheet

The interior is 400 gsm uncoated cotton blend, roughly four times the weight of a magazine page. It is printed with a 12-ink pigment set. More on the paper page.

The binding

Each spread is a single sheet, folded and mounted rather than cut and glued. The book lies open on a table by itself. More on the binding page.

The case

An optional rigid clamshell case wrapped in black bookbinding cloth, engraved to match the album, for $60 at every size.
